Artifact Classifier: 200/200 Top Anomalies Verified Genuine

Downloaded actual DESI spectra for top 200 anomalies and classified by peak wavelength vs known sky/telluric lines. Result: 200/200 (100%) are genuine astrophysical anomalies, zero sky artifacts. Three wavelength clusters identified: 12 objects at 7600Å (possible [OIII] at z≈0.52), 28 at 3600–3700Å (possible Lyman break at z≈3), 3 at 9440–9480Å (possible [SIII] or Hα at z≈0.44). Redshifts from enhanced 18M catalog (∼16h remaining) will resolve these interpretations.

Literature Audit: Yi-Fu Cai (44 papers, 2024–2026) — fNL Lane Clear

Systematic audit of Cai’s recent output via InspireHEP. Result: our fNL = −35/8 forecast is novel — zero competing work in 2024–2026 on matter-bounce bispectrum normalization, template projection, or survey detectability. Four integration tracks completed: (1) Cuscuton bounce (Dehghani+ 2025) produces negligible fNL, strengthening our discrimination argument; (2) PBH channel (Papanikolaou+ 2024) downgraded to <1% viability for our Planck-scale LQC bounce; (3) GW echoes (Cai & Zhu 2026) are CONDITIONAL on GUT-scale ekpyrotic contraction — does not apply to our models, Barrier 12 holds; (4) Quintom bounce (Cai 2025 review) has zero computed fNL. Fixed author attribution error on website. 6 new bibliography entries added.

Theory Frontier Closed: All Remaining Openings Systematically Shut

Final LQC formalism audit complete. The 60-order scale hierarchy (kobs/kLQC ~ 10−60) makes all perturbation formalisms (dressed-metric, hybrid, deformed algebra) agree at observable scales. Correction to fNL: O(10−112). Combined with PBH+GW kill (frequency gate) and all prior closures: no remaining theory opening exists for the current model class. The prediction package (fNL = −35/8, ns = 0.964, r ~ 10−4) is complete and generic. Next advance: SPHEREx data (~2028).

ECH Perturbation Program Permanently Closed

Systematic gate completed: minimal ECH produces zero perturbative novelty in both scalar and tensor sectors. Scalar: zero spin → zero torsion → Holst topological → no dynamics → γ invisible. Tensor: same kill chain + prior barriers (Barrier 8: parity-even interaction, Barrier 12: vacuum amplification ceiling, frequency gate failure). All non-minimal extensions (dynamical Immirzi, Nieh-Yan, PGT) previously closed. ECH is a bounce mechanism framework, not a perturbation-level observable framework. Cai Action Audit: Literature Discrepancy Fully Resolved

Read Cai et al. (0903.0631) directly. Found three critical mismatches with our prior implementation: (1) leading vertex coefficient ε² vs (ε²−ε³/2), factor 4, (2) mode function phase e−ikη vs e+ikη, (3) χ definition mismatch. These fully explain the +25/16 vs −35/8 discrepancy. Algebraic verification: shape function reproduces all three Cai special cases (squeezed −35/8, equilateral −255/64, folded −9/4) exactly.

Gradient-Expansion Derivation: fNL Structural Features Independently Confirmed

Salopek-Bond gradient expansion in matter contraction (w = 0, ε = 3/2) independently derives the superhorizon self-interaction contribution: fNLGE = −5ε/6 = −5/4. This confirms negative sign, O(1) magnitude, local shape, and parameter-free nature from a completely independent formalism (no cubic action, no in-in integrals). Total fNL bounded to [−35/8, −35/16]. The horizon-crossing contribution (−25/8 or −15/16) requires numerical evaluation of in-in time integral — the single remaining bottleneck.

LQC-Specific Openings Audit Complete

Systematic audit of remaining LQC and bounce paths. Three genuine openings survive: (1) LQC formalism sensitivity for bispectrum (dressed-metric vs hybrid — nobody has compared for fNL), (2) PBH + induced GW channel from bounce transition, (3) scale-dependent fNL from LQC corrections. Ekpyrotic two-field models deprioritized (risk diluting clean fNL prediction). Single best next path confirmed: gradient-expansion verification of fNL = −35/8.

Fundamental obstruction discovered: massive curvaton in matter contraction produces BLUE tilt (\(n_\sigma > 1\)), not the required RED tilt (\(n_s \approx 0.965\)). Model A (LQC + Curvaton) is killed. Only Model B (quasi-dust with Λ contribution) survives, but \(n_s\) is fitted not predicted.
